Pennsylvania’s Premier Castle Wedding Venue
Have you always dreamed of exchanging vows in a gorgeous storybook setting like a castle? How about spending the nights following your wedding in one of the best castles in Pennsylvania to stay in? Here’s your opportunity. Buhl Mansion has several picturesque areas both indoor and outdoor to host weddings and other events, including our elegant gardens and stately Carriage House. Outdoor weddings and social events occur in the gardens, which are in full bloom during the warmer months and create a beautiful backdrop for your big day. You can also choose to host your event in the greenhouse, where, depending on the season, you can arrange a cocktail hour, an intimate ceremony, or a combination.
If you’d prefer to host an event in the castle, our property has several spaces from which to choose. The formal dining room, the parlor, and the carriage house can accommodate guests for weddings, anniversaries, or reunion parties. The Carriage House venue can accommodate up to 50 people. Four gorgeous glass French doors open directly to an enclosed courtyard. The Parlour is ideal for a more intimate wedding with a smaller guest list.

Picturesque Event Locations
Outdoor Garden Venue
Up to 120 people can be accommodated in our beautiful garden setting for cocktail parties or wedding ceremonies, followed by your reception in the carriage house and tented courtyard.
Tented Courtyard
From May through October the tented courtyard, connected to the carriage house, can seat up to 120 people for wedding receptions, birthday or anniversary dinners or cocktail parties.
Carriage House Venue
This spacious and elegant setting is the perfect backdrop for cocktail parties, wedding receptions or larger meetings. Its four sets of French doors open up to an enclosed courtyard. The carriage house can hold 50 sit-down or 75 cocktail-style.
Greenhouse Venue
The Victorian greenhouse is the perfect setting for intimate wedding ceremonies during the colder months of the year (with receptions in the carriage house) or during cool summer evenings for hors d’oeuvres and champagne.
Winter Wedding Venue
Late fall and winter weddings are picturesque in the most intimate ceremony setting in our greenhouse, followed by the reception in our carriage house.
Sunroom
Light and airy, this room is perfect for informal luncheons or group breakfasts. *Events inside the Guesthouse are limited to certain hours of the day unless all 10 rooms are booked by the party.
Formal Dining Room
Solid, carved mahogany dining room suite circa 1850 sets the tone for a perfect corporate meeting or formal catered meal. *Events inside the Guesthouse are limited to certain hours of the day unless all 10 rooms are booked by the party.
Parlour
Spectacular setting with subdued ivory and gold tones. Perfect for the intimate weddings or more comfortable surroundings for corporate retreats. *Events inside the Guesthouse are limited to certain hours of the day unless all 10 rooms are booked by the party.
